Growing Voices offers speech and language therapy to the pediatric population ages 4-10 years old in the Southtowns area.

Hi there!

I’m Maia Kozak M.S., CCC-SLP

Owner/Speech-Language Pathologist

I have a passion for the field of speech-language pathology and helping children communicate. I founded Growing Voices because I saw the need for individualized speech therapy for our community.

I am NYS licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. After graduating with my masters degree from The State University of New York at Fredonia, I’ve worked in various settings including school-based, agency-based, and home health. I have experience treating speech sound disorders (articulation/phonology), language disorders, fluency, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).

Mission Statement

At Growing Voices Speech Language Pathology, our mission is to empower children and their families through personalized speech and language therapy. We believe in a 'whole person approach' that recognizes the unique needs of each child, fostering their communication skills in all aspects of their daily lives. By emphasizing family involvement and individualized therapy sessions, we strive to help every child achieve their goals and enhance their ability to connect with the world around them.

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

AAC is a form of multimodal communication that can supplement or compensate for individuals with expressive communication disorders. AAC can be high-tech, low-tech, and no-tech.

FAQ

  • If you have concerns regarding your child’s speech and language development, schedule a free 30 minute consult with me.

  • Services are currently private pay only. However, we do offer a superbill.

  • Depending on your out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement from your insurance provider. A Superbill is a receipt of services already provided. I recommend you reaching out to your provider to see if they will reimburse you for the services.
